 NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - LL Cool J, who is presently touring with Dru Hill, has been tapped to join the cast of Slow Burn, a crime thriller which will also star Ray Liotta and Jolene Blalock, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film is scheduled to start shooting next month in Montreal. LL Cool J will play the role of a stranger who during a 24-hour period joins Blalock's character to manipulate a politically ambitious district attorney - played by Liotta - who's dealing with a powerful gang leader. In the meantime, fans can catch LL Cool J on the big screen in August. The rapper is one of the stars of the new action movie S.W.A.T., which also stars Samuel Jackson, Colin Farrell, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jeremy Renner. The film will hit theaters on August 8.
