LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) - RISE RECORDS, the label founded in 1991 by Craig Ericson, has confirmed bookings of over 500 shows for its artists for the rest of 2009. The label, which was shelved while Ericson attended college, began releasing loud, in-your-face music once again in 2000. Over the last two years, RISE has seen every one of its releases chart among the Top Indie 200.

Miss May I, a hardcore/metal band out of Troy, Ohio, recently debuted at No 66 on the Indie Charts and at No 29 on the Heatseeker Chart.

Meanwhile, the label's Attack Attack!, which hails from Columbus, Ohio, has been tearing it up all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour and has sold nearly 50,000 units since November. Label mates Dance Gavin Dance just wrapped up its time on the annual summer juggernaut just in time to hit the road on the "Squash the Beef Tour" with RISE'S Emarosa, Of Mice & Men, Tides of Man, and Of Machines. That tour, guaranteed to decimate everything in its path, runs from September 16 - October 19.

RISE is extremely excited to announce the signing of Southern California's Bleeding Through (https://www.myspace.com/bleedingthrough) . The band, celebrating its 10-year anniversary next month with a West Coast tour, will head into the studio in early 2010.

RISE is also proud to welcome The Color Morale to the family. The Rockford, IL band will see its debut release We All Have Demons (produced by Joey Sturgis whose credits include TDWP, For The Fallen Dreams, Attack Attack!) in stores September 1.

This fall will also see the solo debut from Emarosa frontman Jonny Craig. His release, a side project venture away from the band, is more Johnny Cash than what fans are accustomed to. With plenty going on, RISE, a label that's home to 21 acts as well as one solo artist, will soon be starting a brand new street team. Fans interested in joining should email adam at riserecords.com and submit their name, address, email and age.
