 New York (Top40 Charts/ Jive Records) - Bowling For Soup announces the release of their 10th studio-effort, Sorry For Partyin' on Jive Records. The Denton, TX natives return with their new single and video "My Wena" that showcases their one-of-a-kind brand of fun-pop/punk. The comical video premiered this week on Clear Channel's iheartradio and alternative radio station websites. The single for "My Wena" will be available July 28th on all digital providers. The "My Wena" video debuted on Clear Channel's iheartradio on July 21st, where fans can stream music and video content on demand online or through their mobile devices. The single is currently available on Hot Topic's Shockhound.com and is the No 1 song on the online music download site. The single "My Wena" is a hilarious love song that only Bowling For Soup could pull off. With their trademark style of tongue in cheek lyrics, "My Wena" is filled with double entendre references about the singer's girlfriend, Wena. On July 22nd, Jive Records launched a stand alone website, MyWena.com to host the head-turning uproarious video. The site will include additional video clips of "My Wena" as she embarks on a tour of Texas as well as ringtones; MP3's, Send a Friend Viral links, etc. The Grammy nominated quartet of singer/guitarist Jaret Reddick, guitarist Chris Burney, bassist Erik Chandler and drummer Gary Wiseman are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their September release. Additionally tickets are now on sale for their Party In Your Pants UK Tour 2009 that kicks off October 17(th) in Glasgow, Scotland.
