The companion to his 2007 Grammy winning comeback record 'Dirt Farmer,' Helm has successfully brought the plugged-in edge of the now famous Midnight Rambles into the studio for 'Electric Dirt.' Featured on the album are horn arrangements by Allen Toussaint and the Levon Helm Band, original compositions by Helm and Larry Campbell, covers of Muddy Waters, Randy Newman, and The Grateful Dead, and vocals from Amy Helm and Teresa Williams.
