Introducing FranKo! Double-A Side Single: 'Nightime' & 'Today'

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ FranKo Official MySpace Website) - FranKo are a young, four piece band, hailing from South London.

Teen members, Tommy Bastow (vocals); Richard Craker (guitars/BVs); Chris Gilbertson (bass guitar/BVs); Beau Poynts (drums/BVs) formed the band in late 2007 and have quickly made a remarkable impression on the music scene, turning the heads of audiences and industry alike.

With a steady and ever growing fan base, FranKo have played to crowds in and around London including The Indig02 @ the O2 where they performed in front of over a thousand people, The Metro, as part of the City Showcase, The Astoria 2, Nambucca and the ULU Barfly.

The band also undertook a tour of Thailand last summer, grabbing great attention from the press and radio media as well as appearing live on MTV.

Bebo UK picked up on the buzz and recently ran a video exclusive, introducing the band to that all important teen audience.

Currently working on their debut album with producer Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Charlatans, Foo Fighters), Dario Dendi (who has worked with The Killers, Oceansize, Franz Ferdinand) and Jason Wilcock (Fightstar, You Me At Six, Dinosaur Pile Up); the band are preparing for the release of their first, double A side single: 'Nightime' and 'Today' which is due for release later this summer.

The band play London Water Rats this Friday July 10th before heading over to New York City where they will play a string of live dates having already received prominent placement on global sites, AOL and Sugarscape.

FranKo will return to the UK later in the summer to support the single release and play further dates.
