New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ JMC-Janice McCafferty Communications) - Big Chance Records is proud to announce the release of AVM full length CD, 'A Matter of Time' with the official record release party. Marcus Theater in Addison, IL will play host to the event, Saturday June 20th. AVM is an outstanding Chicago-based rock group and recording act headed by singer-songwriter and music producer Robert Mackey. AVM band members include: frontman, Robert Mackey, Scott Carlin, Steve Birkett, Martin Steen, Tom Hamning and Greg Mango. AVM has entertained thousands at many outdoor summer festivals and prominent clubs throughout the USA. Their experienced band members have shared the stage with many legendary and diverse artists like Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Loverboy, Starship, Survivor, Buddy Guy, Eddie Money and Three Dog Night, just to name a few. Several years in the making, their new CD, 'A Matter of Time,' features well crafted songs that contain heartfelt lyrics and haunting melodies destined to be timeless hits. The first single 'So Hard' (a tribute to our Armed Forces and their families) is spinning now at over 200 stations in the USA.

Elements that set AVM apart from any other rock band is their ability to have successfully built a solid bridge between classic style and new rock, generating broad audience and marketing appeal. AVM is best described as a modern rock band with a progressive edge. The new AVM album encompasses music reminiscent of nostalgic rock and roll that is inspirational and relatable. Examples of this can be heard in the tracks 'Time for Change' and 'A Matter of Time," both songs' chorus deliver a rather positive message similar to popular motivational songs during the 70's. The essence of AVM can best be understood through the lyrics of one of their more intimate singles entitled 'So Hard." AVM recorded 'So Hard' as a tribute to US Troops and their families. In the Daily Herald, suburban Chicago's largest daily newspaper, Mackey was quoted as saying, 'I wrote 'So Hard' about the life of those people that soldiers leave behind - through the eyes of my niece and nephew. It's not about pro-war or anti-war," he said. "It's about the hardship of separation.'

AVM has brilliantly and strategically delivered on this album, the complexity of human emotion. 'A Matter of Time' CD is an imaginative body of music that rockers of all ages will love. As an expression of their support of the US troops AVM will provide complimentary tickets to local military troops and their families to attend their forthcoming record release party. The music video for the single 'So Hard' will be played during the show as special tribute to military personnel in attendance.
