Franklin, Ohio (Top40 Charts/ JD Legends Official Website) - JD Legends Beach Volleyball Club, a part of the JD Legends entertainment complex will host Country Music Star Mark Chesnutt Saturday May 30, 2009. Doors Open at 5pm. Mark Chesnutt is an American country music singer known for his neotraditionalist country style. Chesnutt recorded his first album, Doing My Country Thing in the late 1980s on an independent record label; his national debut came in 1990 with the single "Too Cold at Home", the first single from his second album, which was also titled Too Cold at Home.

To date, Chesnutt has charted more than thirty singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including eight Number One singles. He has also released eleven studio albums and a Greatest Hits package. His first three albums -- Too Cold at Home (1990), Longnecks & Short Stories (1992), and Almost Goodbye (1993) and his 1996 Greatest Hits album have all achieved RIAA platinum certification in the United States, while 1994's What a Way to Live was certified gold.

His most recent album, Rollin' with the Flow, was released on June 24, 2008. Its title track and lead-off single was a cover of Charlie Rich's hit single from 1977. JD Legends Beach Volleyball Club is part of a 24,000 square foot entertainment complex that offers a bowling alley, arcade games, sports bar, restaurant, beach volleyball, Tiki bar and outdoor music pavilion. JD Legends Beach Volleyball Club is a three-court beach volleyball club that has a tiki bar and an outdoor music pavilion which hosts volleyball leagues and music concerts on the weekends. Attached to the facility is a restaurant and 24-lane bowling center. JD Legends was formed in 2003 after the new owners, Eli and Wasfi Samaan, purchased and invested $1.8 million in renovations to help the failed bowling center to become one of the top entertainment complexes in Ohio. The facility is located at 65 Millard Drive in Franklin, Ohio, one mile west of I-75, exit 38. The company has 50 full and part time employees.
