NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group The Cab has announced details of their upcoming new EP. "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS..." will be available via iTunes and all leading DSPs on June 16th.

The EP is highlighted by the single, "Take My Hand (Remix)," featuring guest vocals from Hey Monday's Cassadee Pope. The track - the original version of which can be found on the Las Vegas-based band's breakthrough 2008 debut, "WHISPER WAR" - will be accompanied by a companion video clip, set to premiere in mid-June. "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS..." also gathers exclusive live and acoustic tracks, as well as "Diamonds are Forever (and Forever is a Mighty Long Time)," a b-side from their debut release.

The Cab will celebrate the EP's release with their biggest headline tour to date. The "What Happens In Vegas... Tour" kicks off June 18th at Tucson, Arizona's Club Congress, and then continues though a hugely anticipated hometown show at Las Vegas' House of Blues on August 9th (see itinerary below). Main support on the tour will be split between The Secret Handshake and The Cab's fellow Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen labelmates, A Rocket To The Moon. Also set to appear on selected dates are such bands as The Summer Set, Eye Alaska, Anarbor, and My Favorite Highway - check local listings for details.

Produced by Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, All Time Low, 3OH!3), with additional production by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump, "WHISPER WAR" arrived at No 1 on Billboard's "Top Heatseekers" chart upon its 2008 release. The album - which includes the hit singles "I'll Run," "Bounce," and "One Of THOSE Nights" - received copious critical acclaim for their fresh sound and vision, with Alternative Press declaring The Cab to be one of the "100 Bands You Need To Know" in its influential yearly round-up.

The Cab - named by Alternative Press readers to 2008's "Most Underrated New Artist" list - spent much of the past two years on the road, including the hugely successful "Rock Band Live" concert tour alongside labelmates and fellow Las Vegas residents Panic At The Disco (whose personal recommendation led to the band's signing to Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen). In September, The Cab topped the bill on their first-ever headline excursion, the "Why So Serious? Tour." In addition, the band has shared stages with the likes of We The Kings, Forever The Sickest Kids, Metro Station, and fellow Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording groups Cobra Starship and The Hush Sound.
