NEW YORK (50 Cent Fans Website) - Top-selling rapper 50 Cent has signed a label deal with Interscope Records. The label will be called G-Unit records, and - appropriately enough - the first release will be from 50 Cent's group, also called G-Unit. The G-Unit album, which features Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, is due out by the end of the year.

Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine as saying, "When you have an artist like 50 Cent, you want to be in business with him on every level - movies, video games, wherever he wants to go.
"Now that I got people's attention," says 50 Cent of his new label. "I'm not leveling the competition, I'm destroying it."
