LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Frontiers Records) - Jimi Jamison's 'Crossroads Moment' reunites Survivor vocalist with his former bandmate, songwriter and keyboardist Jim Peterik, for his strongest, most compelling record in his two-decade career.

With Peterik's songwriting assistance, the two have crafted an album that allows Jamison's silky voice to shine.

'Jim brings out the best in my voice with his song writing,' Jamison said. 'Since our time in Survivor, he's just had the ability to bring out the best of what I have to offer vocally.'

The reunion happened by chance, when the two were both booked to play a charity show. After five years without communication, the duo decided to give it a ago and performed 'The Search is Over' with just Jamison on vocals and Peterik on keys. The magic was still there and it was clear they would be collaborating in the future.

'Crossroads Moment' is an indirect concept album - one that didn't start out that way but developed into a cohesive theme. "Throughout recording, each song began to make sense with the previous song until they each became like a piece of a puzzle that just fit together perfectly," Jamison said. "It was strange that it worked out that way but I'm glad it did. It's great when you start a project from scratch and it just turns out the way you felt all along." The title comes from the track "Crossroads Moment." "This song means so much to me because this is exactly the point of life I was at when Jim first played it for me," Jamison said. "I was really at a crossroads between my past and all the options of my future. Recording this album helped me find myself and take all the right turns."

In addition to Peterik, longtime friends and acclaimed singers Thom Griffin, Don Barnes, Mike Reno, Mickey Thomas, Dave Bickler, and Joe Lynn Turner all lent their talents to backing vocals "Crossroads Moment."

Noted as one of the Top Ten Male Vocalists in the World, Jamison's strong and powerful performances began with the nationally acclaimed band Target in the 1970s, followed by a rise to stardom with Cobra through the early 1980s. In 1983, he joined Survivor ant the group went to go on to enjoy five singles in the Top Ten - including "High On You", "The Search is Over," and "I Can`t Hold Back" - four gold, and double platinum albums and multiple movie soundtracks. He later wrote and performed "I'm Always Here" for the television show "Baywatch."

From humble beginnings in rural Mississippi to established star in Memphis, Jamison has never forgotten his roots and continues to be dedicated to charity work such as St. Jude Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Dove House for Abused Children, WTC Relief, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Cancer Society, Fergie's Hep C Benefits, George Klein's famous annual Christmas Charity Show and Auction, The Children's Diabetes Foundation, The Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, the ARF Foundation (headed by Tony LaRussa of the St. Louis Cardinals), and the Toys for Tots programs nationwide. He has been recognized by the Governors of Tennessee, Ohio, and Arkansas for his work on and off the stage.

"Crossroads Moment" is now available in America on Frontiers Records.

Frontiers Records is synonymous with quality melodic music in the rock, progressive, and metal genres. With over 400 records under its belt and chart success in all the core markets of Europe and Asia, Frontiers has become the European home of rock music greats such as Journey, Styx, Toto, Night Ranger, Winger, Dokken, White Lion, and many more. With the strategic move to open a US office and ink a direct distribution deal with Super D, Frontiers is now looking to increase the success story that started 12 years ago in a small room in Naples, Italy, under the initiative of the label's President Serafino Perugino.

Jamison has several life dates lined up for the summer.
