NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Pendulum Records) - Greg O'Quin and vocal ensemble iPraize returns to the gospel music scene with a brand new album, AFTER THE STORM. After a long 8-year hiatus, O'Quin is back on a new label, Pendulum Records, to offer a dynamic CD with 15 power-filled songs.

O'Quin, a native of Dallas, hit the scene in 2001 and scored with a smash song, "I Told The Storm." It captured the people's hearts and emotions as it told the story of resilience and survival. That song went on to be a Top 10 song in 2001 and garnered O'Quin several Dove and Stellar Award nominations. Since that time, O'Quin took the time off to found and pastor the Church Without Walls Int'l church located in the suburbs of Dallas and has recently been consecrated as Bishop.

AFTER THE STORM is jam-packed at 15 songs and is an impressive collection of fantastic vocalists and a variety of contemporary worship, modern R&B, soul, classic gospel and even some smooth hip-hop. Among the highlights include the first single, "Lead Me Jesus," which is already a radio favorite. In three weeks, the single was the most-added at Gospel radio and is in the top 15 on the R&R gospel chart. The song is a nod to the throwback sound, where the simplicity of the hand-clap and foot-stomping is all that's needed. It's a great bluesy, gritty down-home sound!

Other highlights include the extraordinary sequel "Survivor" that literally picks up where "I Told The Storm" left off. The song depicts a story of resilience and survival and is another sweeping ballad that made "I Told The Storm" so successful; and "Convinced" an encouraging song that perfectly meets the needs of today's young people and deals with heavy-weight issues of self-esteem and family dysfunction. Also on this amazing musical journey is the praise-filled "Breakthrough" and the poignant "God Can."

Replete with messages of appreciation, praise, breakthrough and joy, AFTER THE STORM is truly an anthology of musical styles that will be out in stores everywhere June 30, 2009 (catalog No 300208519) on Pendulum Records.
