CHICAGO, IL. (Top40 Charts/ Shon-Gale Events & Publicity) - On Saturday, April 25, 2009, Shon-Gale Events and Publicity, LLC teamed up with Wind Tunnel Entertainment, Intertwine Chicago, and Patrick Entertainment to deliver the only Official
Robin Thicke After Party at Rednofive, 440 N. Halsted, Chicago, IL. This event followed
Robin Thicke's sold out concert with
Jennifer Hudson at Arie Crown, and was co-hosted by
Robin Robinson of Fox News.
Robin Thicke arrived at the club shortly after midnight and immediately stopped to take photos with Robin Robinson of Fox News, Shon Peebles and Gale Farley of Shon-Gale Events and Publicity, Ron Blanchard of Wind Tunnel Entertainment, and Tamara Allen of Intertwine Chicago in front of sponsor, First Choice Media, banner. The photos were taken by Snapp Photography.
He bypassed the massive crowd and was escorted via the lower level of the club up to VIP smiling, stopping for photos and shaking hands with those in VIP, including Chicago Defender staff (sponsor), Shirey Cadillac rep (sponsor), Jennifer Day of First Choice Media (sponsor), and Stacy of Stacy Bowie Designs before heading to his table. Stacy greeted him with a gift bag of personal stationary for himself and his wife to enjoy later.
Robin continued to take photos with all the fans that requested one with the brown-eyed heart throb until he decided enough was enough. Many of the photos were also taken by various local news media and photographers including Creative XXX.
Robin was escorted to his area in VIP and treated to a gourmet spread provided by Jordan's Food of Distinction. Surrounded by his manager, body guards, and fans, he listened to Universal artist, Melanie Fiona, before taking the mic himself and treating the crowd below to his own performance. The fans went wild! Many of which continued to take photos as he reached down to hug a fan or two.
Frequently seen grooving to the music and singing along with other Hip Hop and R&B hits, Robin seemed to be in his own element at the club, enjoying the party as much as anyone.
After nearly three hours partying, Robin exited the club as graciously as he entered, stopping many times again to shake hands and take photos with his fans.
