Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Tas Steiner Public Relations) - The last few weeks have been very busy for breakout pop rock sensation Push Play. The band has been juggling live concert performances on the east coast with top Hollywood executives meetings on the west coast along with red carpet appearances to support
Miley Cyrus at the premiere of her new film,
Hannah Montana: The Movie. Push Play also shot for a largely budgeted photo shoot in downtown Los Angeles with renowned celebrity photographer Sheryl Nields. Push Play was also in Los Angeles to discuss possible deals with several prominent production companies who are interested in chronicling Push Play's next big moves.
Push Play attended the world premiere of Miley Cyrus' film Hannah Montana: The Movie as personal guests of Miley Cyrus. Push Play band members (CJ Baran, Steve Scarola, Nick DeTurris and Derek Ries) got to know Miley while performing at a few concerts together earlier last year. Push Play, who is also represented by Miley Cyrus' manager, Jason Morey from Morey Management Group, was glad to be there to support Miley. Push Play also enjoyed meeting other cast members from the evening and were heavily photographed along side Disney's Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift who stands surprisingly tall next to CJ Baran who is 6'4". "We had a great time at the premiere of Miley's movie," said Push Play lead singer, CJ Baran. "We're really glad to see Miley succeed since she's such a hard worker and a talented singer. Miley and her dad sang to the audience when the film ended that night and I thought the teens in the audience were going to go insane. It was fun to be there."
The next day Push Play was off to be photographed by the legendary Sheryl Nields who selected an eclectic down town loft space for the all day photo shoot which will serve as the source for new art work for Push Play's upcoming promotional campaign. Sheryl Nields has photographed everyone from Jessica Alba, Eva Mendez, Prince, Orlando Bloom and Maroon Five to Tobey Maguire, Matthew McConaughey, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift. The new photographs will debut shortly on Push Play's website pushplaysite.com and on myspace.com/pushplayrox.
Push Play has music and entertainment executives in New York and Los Angeles taking note of this fast band on the rise. Meetings continually take place with Push Play management to discuss possible joint ventures and new media concepts. Push Play is performing in New York City and the United States in venues such as Irving Plaza, the Hammerstein Ballroom and the Nokia Theatre where they were the first unsigned band to actually headline an event there. The band also appeared on MTV's TRL, Z100's Zootopia Preshow and on a float in the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
They have been featured in publications ranging from the New York Times and New York Newsday to write-ups in popular teen publications Tiger Beat, J-14 and Pop Star! Through MySpace, Push Play is regularly generating fifteen thousand plays a night and has received over four million plays and five million profile views. Push Play also averages one thousand comments daily from fans all over the world.
Push Play is currently putting their final touches together on their highly anticipated second album FOUND which will be released this summer.
