Diana Ross is writing a book

NEW YORK (Dianna Ross Fans Website) - Pop legend Diana Ross is writing a memoir she says will look at "the recent heartaches of her life".
Ross, 58, says the book will include details of her drink driving arrest, the breakup of her marriage and the disastrous Supremes reunion tour.
Upside Down: Wrong Turns, Right Turns and the Road Ahead is due to be published by ReganBooks, part of HarperCollins publishers.
The book is due for release in the spring. "What readers will discover in this moving memoir is that no one is immune from... all the losses and challenges we each face in our lives," said Judith Regan, of ReganBooks.
The star has also agreed to a one-hour interview, scheduled to air in May on the Fox Television Network in the US.

Renewed fame

Ross first found fame with all-girl group The Supremes after her neighbour Smokey Robinson arranged a contact with the legendary Motown label.

The group scored hits with Where Did Our Love Go?, Stop in the Name of Love and My World Is Empty Without You before Ross found renewed fame as a solo artist in the 1970s.

Hits like Ain't No Mountain High Enough were followed by a 1980s revival with Chain Reaction.
