The Forcefield Kids - Home EP - Release Date Announced

LOS ANGEELS (Top40 Charts/ Forcefield Kids Official Website) - The Forcefield Kids is a collaboration between two Newcastle based musicians, rapper/writer Stain(ed) Art and deejay/producer Sleepy. Combined, they've been making forward thinking, genre breaking music for nearly two decades.
This record represents their pulling together to deliver a sound characterised by poetic lyrical landscapes and lush lofi instrumentals.

With influences ranging from the hardcore punk sounds of Minor Threat, through the sonic landscapes of Bjork to the twisted lyricism of MF Doom, The Forcefield Kids can truly be called an eclectic act. Always more interested in where they're going than where the other heads tell them it's at, The Forcefield Kids have evolved, Galapagos style, quite apart from the UK Hip-Hop scene as a whole.
Due to release their debut EP on DFNT via Son Records distribution on the 6th of July, 2009 is shaping up to be a big year for Sleepy and Stain, who have always striven to deliver alt.hiphop with depth and maturity.
