Multi-Platinum Selling Artist Kanye West Cosigns Mills Miller Spec Video For The Song 'Street Lights'

New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Mills Miller Media) - The New-York based video savvy director recently released a video/short film for the song ''Street Lights'' off Kanye West's 808's And Heartbreak album. The project which is non-commissioned stars actress Ameena Dove and actor Omar Knight.

Miller chose to express his appreciation of Kanye West music by telling a compelling story through a video that people can relate to and love to watch.

He took all the words Kanye West referred to such as life not being fair moments and in turn made it into a story about a guy who proposes to his girlfriend and as she turns him down immediately we can see by the look on his face that his world is crushed. Every flashing light he sees reminds him of a moment as the song plays out flashing back to the good times in his relationship. It shows how life can turn around in one second.

Talking about why he chose this song by Kanye West, Miller says: "The song felt like it hit home because as an artist sometimes working so hard you don't know how the world will perceive what you do. All you know is your goal or "destination" like Kanye West refers to throughout the song. You may not know how long it's going to take to reach that goal but you know your direction. That's just my interpretation of it, I'm not saying that's what it is but it's definitely my interpretation of it. The video is a reflection of it, I just flipped it into a real life situation between two people."

Kanye West expressed himself on his blog www.kanyeuniversecity.com about the release of the spec video: "Yo I be mad honored when people do there own visuals for my songs! I really appreciate it!"
