Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Publishing Group) - David Renzer, Chairman & CEO, Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) and Doug Frank, President, Music Operations, Warner Bros. Entertainment, announced today that UMPG has successfully negotiated a worldwide publishing administration agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., which includes Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Bros. Television Production.

Through the deal, UMPG obtains exclusive administration rights for the musical works Warner Bros. "We are thrilled to be working with Doug Frank and his team at Warner Bros. Entertainment," said Mr. Renzer. "Our investment in our global administration infrastructure, and our commitment to creating the best systems for registration, collection, and tracking of copyrights, including our online royalty administration portal Royalty Window, continues to keep us ahead of the competition. We are thrilled that Warner Bros. Entertainment recognized this in choosing UMPG. We also look forward to working closely with Doug and his team to maximize all creative opportunities on new Warner Bros. films and TV shows given UMPG's incredible roster of talent, and maximizing all creative opportunities for the important music catalogues of Warner Bros. Entertainment."

"We are pleased to have signed our deal with David Renzer's team at Universal Music Publishing Group," said Mr. Frank. "For us, this choice was ultimately about who would provide us with the most efficient and comprehensive system for registration, collections, and tracking of copyrights. UMPG was the company that could do so while maintaining a firm commitment to the exploitation of our properties."

The Warner Bros. properties include music from such well-known productions as the "Batman", "Matrix", "Harry Potter", and "The Lord of the Rings" film franchises, as well as TV series ER (NBC), Two and a Half Men (CBS), Smallville (CW), Gossip Girl (CW), One Tree Hill (CW), Supernatural (CW), Chuck (NBC), Fringe (FOX), Privileged (CW), The Big Bang Theory (CBS), Nip/Tuck (FX), The Closer (TNT), The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS), Without A Trace (CBS), and The Mentalist (CBS), among others.
