Armin van Buuren has been named number one in the prestigious DJ Top 100 poll twice in a row, in 2007 and 2008- voted for by over 350,000 people across the world, as an indication of his prolific output over the more than 10 years he's been DJ'ing and producing. His other recent accolades include; winner of the Dutch Buma Culture Pop Award 2008, and voted as the Best Trance Artist in the Beatport Music Awards judged on the musician's artistic achievements, national and international success. It is evident that Armin van Buuren has become one of the decade's most influential trance acts.
Armin van Buuren's third artist album 'Imagine' entered the Dutch Album Top 100 with a number one position, and was therefore the first dance artist in Dutch music history to accomplish this. 'In & Out Of Love', the second single of the album and a collaboration with singer Sharon den Adel, was the most viewed official Dutch music video on YouTube. With more than 13 million views, the track still holds a steady position in the worldwide charts.
