LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Sitrick & Company) - A spokesman for Chris Brown said that, given the controversy surrounding his nominations for Kids' Choice Awards, he is withdrawing his name from consideration. "Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so." Statement on Behalf of Tina Davis, Manager of Chris Brown Within the recent news reports concerning Chris Brown and Rihanna are rumors suggesting that there was a text message between Mr. Brown and his manager, Tina Davis, of an intimate nature. Ms. Davis has authorized her attorney, Marshall B. Grossman of Bingham McCutchen LLP, to issue the following statement: "The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports. If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements." Statement From Joyce Hawkins, Co-Manager for Chris Brown: Reports that Chris is looking to replace his team, including Mark Geragos, Tina Davis and Mike Sitrick, are false. There are only two people who could make a change at that level on Chris' behalf: his business attorney Kenny Meiselas and me - and neither of us were the source of this information. To the contrary, Kenny told the media outlet that broke this item, that the information they had was false. So there is no room for doubt or misunderstanding, let me state unequivocally, that no change is planned or being made with respect to Mark Geragos, Tina Davis or Mike Sitrick. We are very pleased with the work they are doing.
