London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ Jim Jones Revue Official Website) - An explosion of raw, satanic rock 'n' roll power will light up Madame JoJo's when the astounding Jim Jones Revue launch their new single on March 5, 2009. The sheer visceral punch of their live show makes this one of the year's most sizzling hot tickets!

The internationally-acclaimed Jim Jones Revue is the former Thee Hypnotics and Black Moses leader's five-piece rock'n'roll outfit. In 2008 they made a dynamic debut with their eponymous album, which succeeded in capturing the amazing Jim Jones in full-on, manic flight.

The new single 'The Cement Mixer' b/w 'Good Golly Miss Molly' is the second release from the album, unleashing a Hammond hurricane from powerhouse keyboardist Elliot Mortimer. Guitarist Rupert Orton's rama-lama-lamming adds to the psychotic mayhem while bassist Gavin Jay and drummer Nick Jones rocket along at the back.

And that's just the record! Their incendiary live show is an unholy, howling fusion of influences: Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Hendrix, Hasil Adkins, The Sonics, MC5, Elvis, with Jones screaming and hollering like Gerry Rosalie one minute and Lux Interior the next, over songs straight out of the Sun, Chess and Specialty stables. All five musicians are at the top of their game.

The Jim Jones Revue is carrying the torch for 'proper' rock 'n' roll - dirty, forceful and utterly irresistable!

'If Little Richard had written this, he'd still be boasting about it today ****' - Mojo Magazine

'Like The Killer smoking the bones of Link Wray' - Album of the year No 10, Big Cheese Magazine

' extraordinary debut the ear-searing, over-cranked sonic savagery of The Jim Jones Revue makes for a breathless listening experience the JJR positively redefine raw, untamed, born-with-a-tail rock 'n' roll' - Classic Rock Magazine

With support from: The Kits Australian garage rock fourpiece based in London. Started by brothers Kit and Jay Atkinson they recently released their debut album, 'Primitive Tales', which reflects their commitment to creating straight, honest rock 'n' roll. The punk roots of The Saints and the rock riffs of The Stooges go to make up passionate rock 'n' roll delivered in a tight, economic package.
