NEW YORK (Dancestar Website) - Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, and Jennifer Lopez are each up for two awards at the 2003 American Dance Music Awards. The awards ceremony will pay tribute to "the significant impact of dance music worldwide," according to organizers DanceStar USA. The show will take place March 19 in Miami Beach, and producers of the show have yet to announce which, if any, of the acts will be in attendance.

The nominees in the best chart act category include Timberlake, Madonna, Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Angie Stone. Nominees in the best album category include the Chemical Brothers' Come With Us, Dirty Vegas's self-titled release, DJ Sammy's Heaven, Moby's 18, and Paul Oakenfold's Bunkka.

In addition to the above categories, the 2003 American Dance Music Awards also feature several categories unique to the music it honors; including best remix, best radio DJ, best celebrity DJ, best event, and best use of music in a commercial.

The 2003 American Dance Music Awards will be taped for later broadcast on cable's MTV2.
