NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Motown Records) - SRP/SRC/Universal Motown singer-songwriter SHONTELLE, the Barbados-born beauty whose debut single 'T-Shirt' was one of late 2008's major break-outs, is back -- in the company of a posse of multi-platinum hit makers -- with her follow-up single and forthcoming video, 'Stuck With Each Other.'

This meltingly melodic romantic duet features a co-starring step-out vocal turn by global superstar and SRC label-mate AKON, whose recently-released Konvict/Upfront/SRC/Universal Motown album FREEDOM has spun off three major hits, 'Right Now (Na Na Na),' 'I'm So Paid' and the currently bulleting 'Beautiful.'

The song will be featured in the February 2009 Touchstone Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic, starring Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy.

'Stuck With Each Other' was written by Diane Warren, one of America's defining pop songsmiths ('Un-Break My Heart,' 'How Do I Live,' 'I Don't Want To Miss a Thing') and produced by Rodney Jerkins, whose decade-plus hit resume includes smashes by Brandy, Whitney Houston, Destiny's Child, Keyshia Cole and Beyonce.

'T-Shirt' was lodged in the Top 20 of the U.S. national mainstream pop radio charts for months in late 2008, and digital sales of the single now approach 600,000. The track has been streamed over 32 million times on SHONTELLE's MySpace.com page. She is currently on tour in the United Kingdom and Ireland, opening for New Kids on the Block, performing at London's O2 Arena and Hammersmith Apollo this weekend. 'T-Shirt' is taking off on British radio nationally, and is a new add on BBC's Radio One.

SHONTELLE's impressively wide-ranging and deeply soul-warming album SHONTELLIGENCE is the first international career step of Shontelle Layne, a 23-year old native of Bridgetown, Barbados who was a straight-A entertainment law student and an award-winning singer/songwriter in her homeland when she met New York producer/songwriter aces Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken, of SRP Records. Their production company had previously launched fellow Bajan native Rihanna as a worldwide superstar.

Aside from her own version of the international soca classic 'Roll,' co-written by Shontelle, the album includes collaborations with producers Sturken and Rogers, Wayne Wilkins and Andrew Frampton ('T-Shirt') Stargate ('Superwoman') and the Heavyweights and the Jam ('Battle Cry'), as well as the hometown Barbados-based teams Classic Soul ('Focus Pon Me').

SHONTELLE's debut also features the idealistic and inspiring 'Battle Cry,' introduced on the unique all-star project Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement, which was first developed as a CD/download compilation for the national campaign of new U.S. President Barack H. Obama, and is now is released to retail on the Hidden Beach label.
