New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Soundbrush Records) - When a legendary jazz figure like Stan Getz states, 'She's as good as they come,' surely long time vocalist Carol Fredette must feel that is a lot to live up to. With her long awaited release, Everything In Time people in the jazz community and critics alike are bound to be lavishing the vocalist with praise once again.

When you hear Carol sing and listen to her music, you know what she did as a child growing up in the Bronx. The music of jazz icons Chet Baker, Stan Kenton and Frank Sinatra were a staple of the Fredette household's listening diet.

Over the years as Carol was developing into an excellent vocalist, and off the road and back in New York, she settled quickly into the New York Jazz scene. Carol has headlined every major jazz club including the Blue Note, Birdland, Michael's Pub, Fat Tuesday's, Cafe Carlyle, and she is a favorite at the Midday Jazz Series at Citicorp's Center. Her performance resume includes a stellar roster of musicians including Hank Jones, Ron Carter, Bucky Pizzarelli, Lee Konitz, George Mraz, Chris Potter, Steve Kuhn, and many other luminaries.

While Carol is not performing and recording, she is stimulating interest and the love of jazz into the next generation of singers with recordings like Everything In Time. There are no doubts her distinctive vocals and classic jazz style will continue to please her audience and continually gain new members as word gets out about this outstanding new release.

Everything In Time will be available February 10, 2009 and you can order it from Amazon.com and listen to song samples, get updates and pictures on Carol's website.
