(Top40 Charts/ G.O.O.D Music) - On Monday January 19. 2009, G.O.O.D Music along with World Famous Entertainment & No Shortage Inc, will hold a release party for Big Sean's long anticipated mixtape, 'Finally Famous Vol. II' along with performances from some of Chicago's hottest unsigned artists. Thanks to Kanye West, Chicago is the home of G.O.O.D Music which is the label started by the 10 Time Grammy Award Winning Artist/Producer who calls the windy city his home. Big Sean is not only Kanye's most recent find but also the youngest on the G.O.O.D Music roster. 'The Inauguration' will be an event filled with hot performances from Big Sean, PTODA, Chris Shields & more, an exclusive preview of the mixtape and surprise appearances. In addition, Big Sean is also having an exclusive meet & greet earlier that day at Self Conscious from 5-8pm with free food & Drinks. Big Sean, is the newest artist signed to G.O.O.D. Music/Island Def Jam. Sean gained a strong relationship with 102.7FM, a local radio station in Detroit where he displayed his rhyming skills weekly. There, he met Kanye West after a radio interview in 2005 and got a chance to display his talent by freestyling for Mr. West.
Big Sean officially signed to G.O.O.D. Music in 2007 and then signed to Island Def Jam in 2008. His hit single "Getcha Some" vastly took over the airwaves and created major buzz for the artist and quickly solidified him as a breakout star.
The single first debuted on Kanye West's "Cant Tell Me Nothin' Mixtape" giving him the exposure needed to showcase and introduce his talent to the world. Big Sean is scheduled to release his debut album entitled "Finally Famous" in Spring 2009.
