Kampala, Uganda (Top40 Charts/ CreateSpace Records) - Benon & Vamposs are among Uganda's most celebrated recording artist and have a good chance of expanding that reach with their recent release I Know.

I Know is a 14-track package filled with diversity including reggae, R & B, hip-hop, and polished pop. The new release encompasses world music that takes many different roads and the results are extraordinary. For those looking for something different and fresh I Know is a one-way ticket to paradise. The tracks offered up are translated in Luganda, Swahili, and English - creating a melting pot of sound and languages that separate this engaging duo from the seemingly endless well of talent found on the internet today.

Benon Mugumbya a.k.a Benon and Elvis Kirya a.k.a Vamposs are bound to catch your ear in some way regardless of your musical preferences. Benon uses his hip-hop and R & B skills while Vamposs peppers their potential hits with reggae and dancehall skills. The pair met in 1999 at Namasagali College, a Ugandan high school that is renowned for developing talent. It was there that they discovered each other's talents, and decided to fuse their styles to form the famed musical team.

In 2005, Benon & Vamposs were nominated for Best R & B single in Uganda's PAM Awards, and in 2006 they were nominated for the Best Group Award in East Africa's Kisima Awards. Surely, the awards will keep coming and massive worldwide acceptance of their unique music and style is just around the corner.

Past performances in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Sweden, Demark, Norway, Germany, and several states in the U.S.A. are spreading the word about Benon & Vamposs like wildfire. Visit their website for more information regarding their exciting new release I Know.
