London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great Communications) - Quite Great Roots, the new folk and roots arm of Quite Great Communications, is pleased to announce that it is now working alongside Nashville based indie label Compass Records to provide press and publicity for all its key acts and releases in the UK.

2009 marks the 15th anniversary year of Compass Records and this, alongside exciting Quarter 1 releases from Jeb Loy Nichols, The Bittersweets, Pierce Pettis, Beoga and Alison Brown, will be the focus of the press activity.

Garry West, co-founder of Compass Records, said of the arrangement: 'We're incredibly pleased to partner with Quite Great Roots and are excited about the greater exposure that this collaboration will bring to the Compass Records Group of labels and our vibrant and talented roster of artists.'

Pete Bassett, MD of Quite Great Communications, added: 'Over the past 12 years, we've worked with a number of country and roots artists, from big names such as Tim Mcgraw and Eileen Rose to smaller up and coming acts. The deal with Compass is an exciting move allowing us to further expand our activity in this area and we look forward to seeing what the year ahead brings.'
