"Who Wants to be the next Rap Star?" will be the first ever Internet Reality show. Contestants will be chosen from Sonic Bids entries. Internet Records will choose the top twelve hip-hop artists to compete in an exclusive twelve-week online event. Submissions are open to the public till February 28, 2009. Being a first of its kind, the new online reality show will focus on specific tasks, and artist development. The show will chronicle the progression of the artists from the time chosen to the grand finale. Internet Records and America will choose two artists that represent the best hip-hop talent in the country.
