NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ RCA Music Group) - J Records Recording artist Jazmine Sullivan and her debut album Fearless leads the way for the RCA Music Group, earning a total of five nominations, including Best New Artist and Best R&B Album for the 51st Annual Grammy Awardsannounced last night in Los Angeles. Jazmine's debut single "Need U Bad" is nominated for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, her current single "Bust Your Windows" for Best R&B Song, and her track "In Love with Another Man" for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance. The 21 year-old Philadelphia native wrote every song and executive-produced her critically acclaimed album. Jazmine's debut single "Need U Bad" reached the No 1 position on Billboard's Mainstream R&B/Hip Hop, Hot R&B/Hip Hop charts and made her the first female in almost 4 years (the 8th in this decade) to achieve this feat.

Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson received 4 nominations from her chart topping self-titled debut album including Best R& B Album, along with song categories Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for the track "Spotlight," and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "I'm His Only Woman" with label mate Fantasia. Lewis' Spirit debuted at No 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart in April, marking the first time in music history that any album by a British female artist has entered Billboard's Top 200 album chart at No 1, as well as the first time any British artist, male or female, has claimed the top spot with a debut album.

The recipient of 2 Grammy Awards earlier this year for her hit single "No One," 11 time Grammy award winning, J Records/MBK Recording artist Alicia Keys, earned three nominations, two from her multi-platinum album As I Am for the categories Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the track "Lesson Learned" with John Mayer and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for "Superwoman." Kings of Leon's 4th album for RCA earns them their first ever Grammy nominations and debuted at No 4 on the Billboard Top 200 and No 1 on the Billboard Digital Albums chart, marking the highest debut and the largest single sales week for the band in the US. Their Grammy-nominated track "Sex on Fire" is the No 1 track at rock radio this week.

Grammy, Emmy and Tony award winner Barry Manilow earns a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for In The Swing of Christmas (Arista/Hallmark).
