HOLLYWOOD, CA. (Top40 Charts/ acropolisRPM) - LOOSE LOGIC, called 'an up-and-coming rapper' (LOS ANGELES TIMES), caps off another year of growth and continued success in the music industry with a nomination for 'Hip-Hop Album Of the Year' for BEFORE THE STORM at the 2008 L.A. Music Awards, happening Thursday, November 20 at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood, California.

Recently interviewed on Indie 104 (voted L.A.'s Best Internet station for 2006 and 2007), the young rapper won 'Best Hip-Hop/Urban Artist Of The Year' at the 2007 All Access Magazine Music Awards as well as 'Best Urban (Rap) Artist of the Year' at the 2007 Orange County Music Awards. He was also chosen a 'Top 100 Unsigned Artist' for 2007 by respected L.A.-based national trade publication, MUSIC CONNECTION MAGAZINE.

'BEFORE THE STORM' is Loose Logic's recently-released and critically-lauded CD. 'R.I.P.' is dedicated to the memory of the rapper's grandfather, while 'Real Hip-Hop' came from 'Logic 'just listening to where the music is going right now, and me talking about what real hip-hop is to me and talking about the state of the game,' he explains.' 'Beautiful' is 'a love song retracking different points in a relationship that I had and that I'm still init's got a hint of sadness and hope in it and you can tell that by the beat and the Chord progression. There's good times and bad times in those songs but in the end it all comes through and it's beautiful.'

'The third time proves to be a definite charm for rapper Loose Logic,' writes Robert Kinsler in the ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER. 'The Westbrook-produced disc also boasts one of the best songs I've heard on any release this year, the haunting "This Dream," which effectively finds the young singer rapping about social and economic injustice against a musical landscape as noteworthy for lush keyboards as the intoxicating rhythm.'

Loose Logic has performed onstage with national recording acts KRS-1, DJ Quick, Strong Arm Steady, and Evidence, among others. 'He flows with the grit of Tupac and the wit and playful lyricism of Eminem,' writes SQUEEZE OC. 'The beats are deepfrom the up-and-coming MC and producer.' 'An outstanding recording of rap poetry with some exceptional vocal offeringsquickly becoming a MUEN favorite!' raves MUEN MAGAZINE. 'Is Loose Logic going to be the next great White Hope of Hip-Hop? Could be,' says the ROCKWIRED radio program. 'It's a safe bet that Loose Logic is going to be around for a while...' Britt Warner (LONG BEACH GAZETTE) wrote, 'at 9:30 p.m. Loose Logic popped in his CD and reclaimed the crowdbeyond his complexion lies a socially conscious warrior who's more akin to Tupac if anyonehe possesses a rhythm and flow reminiscent of a one-man Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and a voice all his own.'

The Southern California native was previously selected for a new TV Pilot,'AMERICA'S BEST NEW RAPPER' and began his Hip-Hop career at age 16. Exhibiting a skillful ability to write his own music and play both keyboards and guitar, he quickly ascended the L.A. Hip-Hop scene, performing at renowned clubs such as B.B. King's/Universal City Walk, where he was part of the 'Super Summer' Concert sponsored by radio station KIIS-FM; as well as the House of Blues in Anaheim.
