LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Zink Music) - Zink Music is more than proud to present a new album from two of the most legendary names on the Westcoast Music scene; October 31 will see the European release of the album 'Scene 29' from Jay Graydon and Randy Goodrum, here working under the name JaR!

Jay Graydon is a music industry veteran, internationally renowned with many hits over the years. He is a Los Angeles top songwriter, recording artist, guitarist, producer, arranger, engineer and twice Grammy awarded with twelve top five Grammy finalist nominations. Jay's work can be heard on albums from artist like Bill Champlin, Christopher Cross, Al Jarreau, Marc Jordan, Steve Kipner, Bill LaBounty, Pages, Bill Cantos and David Foster - does the name Airplay ring a bell?

Randy Goodrum is a songwriter who has penned standards and numerous major hits in all areas, among them for artists like Steve Perry, Chicago, Toto, Christopher Cross, Russ Taff, Bobby Caldwell, Michael McDonald, Al Jarreau, David Pack, Bill LaBounty and just recently he was a big part of Steve Lukather latest album 'Ever Changing Times'. Randy also appears as a guest artist and writer on the album 'LA Project II' from Zink Music artist Peter Friestedt.

The album 'Scene 29' is superbly crafted, loaded with original, sophisticated, catchy songs, with subtle harmonies and interesting melodic hooks. The musical concept is totally new, yet slightly familiar to anyone into the Steely Dan sound, as the songs build on a similar formula with complex jazz-influenced chord structures that are pleasant to the ear with unexpected musical twists, as well as apt, fun and innovative lyrics. Further, the groove is mature and as usual Jay Graydon plays his guitar with elegant and intelligent accuracy.
