New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - GRAMMY-winner Boz Scaggs will bring his signature silken voice to the famed Blue Note in NYC for a series of shows this November, showcasing the understated renditions of jazz classics from his new album 'Speak Low' (out 10.28 on DECCA). Scaggs will be joined by a full band of world-class musicians, including Gil Goldstein (who arranged/co-produced 'Speak Low') on piano, accordion and synthesizer; Steve Rodby on bass; Ms. Mone't on vocals; Bob Sheppard on tenor and soprano saxophone, flutes and bass clarinet; Paul McCandless on English horn, oboe and additional woodwinds; and Richie Morales on drums/percussion.

The Blue Note played an integral role in the conception of 'Speak Low.' While in New York one rainy evening several years ago, when 'Speak Low' was only a twinkle in his eye, Scaggs found himself walking past the famed venue listening to the music playing inside: "It was vibes, string trio, a couple of horns - this was the sound I'd been hearing in my head, exactly. Turned out to be the Gil Goldstein Septet. After the set we started talking, and it was just a really nice meeting. When we got together around a piano, that was it. We knew."

'Speak Low,' the follow up to Scaggs's No 1 jazz album 'But Beautiful,' is out now on vinyl and October 28th digitally and on CD via Decca.
