Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Rounder Records) - Dailey & Vincent walked away with an unprecedented seven awards, including Entertainer of the Year, at the International Bluegrass Music Awards Show held last night at the Ryman Auditorium. Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent launched their career as a duo just a year ago. In addition to Entertainer of the Year, they took home trophies for Vocal Group of the Year, Album of the Year (for their self-titled Rounder Records debut), Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year (for 'By the Mark'), Emerging Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year (Dailey), and Recorded Event of the Year for Vincent's participation on the album, Everett Lilly & Everybody and Their Brother.

Dailey and Vincent were quick to thank their former employers and mentors, Ricky Skaggs and Doyle Lawson. 'Doyle Lawson, I love you like a daddy,' said Dailey, who for nine years was the lead singer for Lawson's Quicksilver. 'I listened to everything you said, even when you thought I didn't,' he joked.

The duo earned a standing ovation for their awards show performance of 'By the Mark.'

When accepting the award for Vocal Group of the Year, the singers cited their musical influences, including Skaggs, Lawson and the Statler Brothers.

'We're overwhelmed and honored,' said Vincent, and pledged that the group would do everything possible to lift up bluegrass and validate the support shown to them by their peers.

Dailey & Vincent will perform at Bluegrass Fan Fest at the Nashville Convention Center on October 4 at 7:25 p.m., before hosting the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. Fans can tune in at 650 AM WSM or listen online at https://www.wsmonline.com/.

Dailey & Vincent will return to the Grand Ole Opry on October 24, and they will make an appearance at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum gift shop on October 25.
