KINGSTON, Jamaica (Foxy Brown Fans Website) - When Foxy Brown next returns to Jamaica, she will face an arrest warrant for failing to show up to a hearing on July 28. The hearing stemmed from an altercation with a policewoman at Jamaica's Norman Manley International Airport on July 26.

Kingston Criminal Court clerk Nicola White told the New York Post that Brown allegedly assaulted the female police officer and breached airport regulations when she refused to let police conduct a body search. The rapper allegedly demanded to be let go and punched the female police officer in the stomach.

Brown was arrested and released on $400 bail. White explained, "When she did not appear at hearing on July 28, a warrant was issued. If we catch up with her, she will be arrested."

Brown's publicist Marvette Britto shared the rapper's version of the incident, "She was pulled to the side by an aggressive female security screener. They thought Foxy was a drug mule. It was humiliating. They didn't have a reason to search her. She had something to do in New York. She needed to catch a flight."

Britto continued, "In Foxy's mind, she felt she was detained, not arrested. She didn't find out until later that she was supposed to be at a hearing. I'm sure she's going to go back to Jamaica. She wants to clear this up."

In related news, Foxy Brown is currently putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming set, Ill Na Na Part 2: The Fever. The set will feature the production of the Neptunes and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.
