Venice, FL. (Top40 Charts/ JEDi Communications) - The Florida based entertainment company JEDi Communications has signed an exclusive personal management agreement with Pauli Carman and Champaign. Champaign is the multi-platinum group that recorded the unforgettable R&B/smooth jazz classics "HOW 'BOUT US" and "MAYBE WE CAN TRY AGAIN". According to Pauli, HOW 'BOUT US became a platinum hit and certified gold while the group was touring overseas. CBS decided to release the album that was followed by MODERN HEART featuring TRY AGAIN and then WOMAN IN FLAMES containing the hit OFF AND ON LOVE.

Although the group left the charts by the 90's Pauli has continued to pursue one of his major passions, music. The other is his love for working with disabled youth. He indulged both of his passions at the recent Urbana Sweet Corn Festival in Illinois after opening for the rock group Foghat. Right after the concert he was told a group of youth from an area rehabilitation center had traveled to see him. He sent word for them to be brought backstage and he spent major time taking pictures, signing autographs and just hanging out being Pauli.

HOW 'BOUT US has also been recently covered by the legendary Johnny Mathis on his recent CD A NIGHT TO REMEMBER released April 2008. I was blown away when during a radio interview with Johnny on the other line, I found out he had covered HOW BOUT US. He was also very complimentary of my song and how much he liked the original version. That floored me because he is one of my all time favorite singers. I told the interviewer we would have to return the favor and cover one of Johnny's songs. Pauli Carman has just released his latest independently produced CD entitled CARMA and although he didn't cover one of Johnny's songs on their recent CD they did deliver an incredible performance of the Beatle's tune AND I LOVER HER.

"We're obviously excited about the CD because it's truly a labor of love," Pauli said. We worked on this project for a long time and had fun doing it before deciding to release it. CARMA is a mixture of smooth ballads as well as uptempo dance tracks AND we even put in an acapella song. We are anxious to share our new music with the world.

In addition to the music, Pauli Carman and "Champaign" are also developing a pilot project for television with a Las Vegas Production Company. According to his management at JEDi Communications, they are currently in the process of compiling existing video footage and scouting potential locations for the pilot. We've had some interesting discussions with groups in Atlanta and the Midwest to serve as location hosts. We should know more within a couple weeks which direction we'll be heading.

CARMA is available at https://cdbaby.com/cd/paulicarman or from their website at www.PauliChampaign.com. You can purchase a copy at any "Champaign" concerts that they are currently looking to schedule in Florida.
