NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ MySpace Records) - Pop sensation Christina Milian, makes a bold move to MySpace Records as she readies her much anticipated third U.S. album due out in Spring '09. The first single, "Us Against the World," a powerful and melodic ballad written by Milian and produced by Madd Scientist (Leona Lewis, Jesse McCartney) will make an unprecedented Worldwide Premiere on MySpace.com October 6 and will be made available for digital purchase starting on October 7th.

Keeping up with the ever evolving music industry, Milian has decided to team up with MySpace, one of the largest online social networking institutions in order to reach fans through the instant and direct landscape of the internet.

"I am so excited to be a part of the MySpace family," says Christina Milian. "They represent the future of the music industry and for me as a musician, it's important to align myself with a label that allows me to be very much a part of the process. I wrote most of the record myself, worked with producers who I had a connection with and they (MySpace) have supported me as an artist every step of the way."

For her third installment in the states, Milian is writing a majority of the album and has collaborated with Kanye West and power producers T. Pain, Cool and Dre, Jim Jonsin, Toby Gad and Danja in the studio. The result is an album full of personal experiences told through upbeat dance tracks and sweeping ballads characteristic of the singer's broad range.

"We are thrilled to have added powerhouse talent Christina Milian to our roster," says J. Scavo, General Manager of MySpace Records. "We are putting everything we have behind her. MySpace Records will support the release of the single with a multi-tiered launch campaign to include both online and offline elements! The single goes to Pop Radio on October 21st, and we're getting amazing feedback already."

Consistent hard work has paid off for Christina with 3 chart topping albums, 2 Grammy nominations and countless writing credits. She made her first professional musical appearance on Ja Rule's second studio album Rule 3:36, performing vocals on the hit lead single "Between Me and You." She also co-wrote and performed backing vocals for the track "Play" for Jennifer Lopez's album J. Lo, and co-wrote Paula Deanda's "Walk Away" with Ne-Yo.

Milian eventually released her first solo single, "AM to PM," in 2001. The song became a worldwide hit and was featured on her debut album, Christina Milian, which was only released overseas. After the release of her first album, Milian went back into the recording studio to work on a more "R&B" focused record. It's About Time was released on July 13, 2004 in the U.S. The album received a Grammy Award nomination for "Best Contemporary R&B Album." The album's first single, "Dip It Low," became a smash hit and earned a Grammy Award nomination for "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration." Milian's most recent studio album So Amazin' was released in 2006 with hit makers Cool & Dre on the majority of the album, producing ten of the album's eleven tracks.

Also an accomplished actress, with starring roles in past films such as Love Don't Cost a Thing, Be Cool and ABC Family's Snow Globe which garnered her a 2008 Imagen Award for Best Latin Actress in a TV / Film, Christina is next set to appear in The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past alongside Matthew McConaughey and is currently filming the latest installment of the popular film series, Bring It On. Christina was also recently featured as the lead in a live action film made for the EA video game "Need for Speed."
