Her album "Todo da vueltas" on the WattsUp!/Codiscos record label, has been getting rave reviews in the music industry. She has been described as a Norah Jones in Spanish, with her Jazzy and Bossa Nova tones, combining traditional Latin elements and a pure acoustic production. Monica Giraldo won Billboard's songwriting contest for Best Latin song in 2007, as well as the Billboard's "We hear the future" showcase in Miami.
