NEW YORK (Celia Cruz Official Website) - Mrs. Celia Cruz, who underwent surgery on the 5th of December at a New York City hospital, was released this past weekend and is resting at home.
With her husband Pedro Knight by her side, she is recuperating quickly. Her physician has advised her to take the next 2-3 months to rest and limit all of her engagements during that time.

Of course, this has not stopped Celia from making plans to begin recording her next album in February alongside producer/composer Sergio George.

Celia is deeply thankful for all the love and support that everyone has shown towards her and her family during these difficult moments. Thank you all for the unending prayers, messages and cooperation that as always, have shown your love and admiration towards Celia & Pedro.
