Chicago, IL. (Top40 Charts/ Jive Records) - Torrio Jetson, the popular underground Chicago MC is creating a major buzz with his latest single "Windy City Streets." The single is garnering accolades and airplay on college radio stations and mixshows from around the country. The track combines hard hitting beats with thought provoking lyrics. "Torrio Jetson has one of the genre's most distinctive voices; he is definitely a much needed, breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale Hip-Hop sound-scape," raves Anthony Rich, A&R manager of Jive Records.

On "Windy City Streets," Torrio's innovative style brings together a fusion of Hip Hop and Soul music. "Windy City Streets is an important and dynamic song" according to Hip Hop Palace.com.

The single has been serviced to 5,000 DJ's and key online record pools. Additionally,an aggressive online marketing campaign is underway targeting such popular Hip Hop destinations as All Hip Hop.com and Hip Hop Game. Equally important, the lead single will be available for purchase via I-Tunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, and E-Music in early October to coincide with the re-issue of Torrio's critically acclaimed album entitled "Back From the Future." "It's called BACK FROM THE FUTURE , because that is exactly what the music sounds like. The LP sounds like I came from 2015 to save Hip-Hop from destruction and corruption," explains the rapper.

On top of recording lyrics and producing songs, Torrio Jetson directs the videos for his singles. Not only has he shot videos for himself, but he has also completed video production projects for others. One of the most important projects he produced was filming a three part documentary series for the book of Vice Lord ex-gang chief Burrel Lee Wilkes.

Torrio Jetson describes himself as a new strain of Hip Hop. This 24-year old microphone maestro hails from the West side of Chicago. Torrio was raised by teenage parents. His father is Puerto Rican and his mother is African-American. He first picked up a microphone at the age of 7. His first performance was in front of a large crowd in the 3rd grade. Torrio, has developed his talent amidst many obstacles. Over the years, he has assembled a total package of musical genius, magnetic charisma and business acumen. Torrio Jetson has a flawless delivery and his lyrical prowess is amazing. He combines raw intensity, and originality with dynamic soul-stimulating rhythms. He is exploding on the underground rap scene and he has developed a solid fan base in his hometown of Chicago. Moreover Torrio has performed at various venues throughout the country. His stage performances are filled with tremendous energy and stamina.
