TORONTO, Canada (Nickelback Fans Website) - Just when you thought it was no longer cool to raise your fists on the weekends, Nickelback and Kid Rock are about to remind you, Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. The Canadian Quartet and the American Bad Ass have joined forces with Pantera's Dimebag Darrell to record a cover version of Elton John's 1973 classic. After working the song into their live set, Nickelback recorded a version and emailed the track to Kid Rock and Darrell who added their two cents and sent it back. "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" however is not expected to appear on Nickelback's new album, set for a June release. How and when "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting," will be released is unknown. "We're just sitting on it for the moment," Chad Kroeger said. "We'll find a movie for it or something and away we go."
