BERLIN, UK (Gala magazine) - DJ Otzi says he's not going to release any more pop songs and will sing only ballads from now on.
He says he made the decision after the birth of his first child.

The singer, whose real name is Gerry Friedle, told German magazine Gala that he wants the public to realise "that Otzi can not only party, but that Gerry can also openly show his emotions."

Otzi daughter was born in September and is called Lisa-Marie after the daughter of his idol Elvis.
He says his daughter had now "made him a man."

DJ Otzi has had international hits with his cover versions of Hey Baby and Do Wah Diddy.
