NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ DVS Official Website) - Finally satisfying the overwhelming anticipation for a solo release, rapper DVS has released his debut mixtape 'A Piece Of The Action', the third release in a series of highly successful mixtapes by Overthrow Entertainment, free to the digital masses for listen or download.

Available at https://www.myspace.com/dvsvendetta, 'A Piece Of The Action' is 24 tracks of the Harlem native's popular brand of unapologetic swagger and features the singles 'The Beast' produced by Skammadix (Sabac Red of Nonphixion, Doap Nixon, Ill Bill) and 'Can't Catch Me' produced by Jess Jamez of Bronx Zu.

Other standout tracks include DVS' critically acclaimed freestyle over the Britney Spears 'Toxic' beat, as well as collaborative efforts with New York independent hip-hop stars Pumpkinhead, Final Outlaw, Majesty, and Jess Jamez.

This free release is one component in the multi-tiered campaign to promote DVS, including the video for 'The Beast' that's already in the works and a slew of showcases in the New York area, most notably the upcoming August 9th event at Uncle Mikes in lower Manhattan, and DVS' regular appearances at the world famous End Of The Weak events held at the Pyramid in NYC's Lower East Side every Sunday night.
