Seattle, WA. (Top40 Charts/ Jake Records) - Washington state-based Jake Records today announced the signing of Hip Hop recording artist Draztic to the label, for a two album deal. Draztic's debut full-length album "The Image Of Pain" will be released by the label later this summer and is expected to quickly gain "instant classic" status with powerful lyrics, an unmatched flow, and production that is being called "reminiscent of beats that
Common or Guru would be all over." The album takes you on an emotional journey through Draztic's thoughts on life in a big city. "The album is a description of many emotions. Love, pain, aggression and so forth. Each song represents something reflective of most of our lives. The Image of pain references the images of inner city living. There is nothing more painful than what is faced daily in the streets of every city. However, we still find time for joy and love and keeping it moving," Draztic said. "You can count on banging beats and razor sharp lyrics," he added.
Jake Records CEO Scott Thomas calls Draztic "an unbelievable find. This is one of those artists that makes you love Hip Hop all over again. We're blessed to have his many talents in our camp, and I can't wait to share his work with the world." Likewise, the artist is happy to be on the label. "I am truly excited about signing with Jake Records. I believe in their mission to bring forth new and exciting music. I am looking forward to the release of this album as well as future music with Jake Records. Given their start to the year, I believe we can continue expanding upon their achievements together," Draztic said.
The official release date for the album has not yet been set by the label.
