Music Publishing songwriters, including Beyonce, Jermaine Dupri, Fabolous, and Stargate's Tor Erik Hermansen took home top honors at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul
Music Awards last night, picking up 17 awards at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
In addition, "Make Me Better", which was co-written by Fabolous (with Timbaland), was named Top Rap Song of the year.
The success of EMI Music Publishing songwriters helped the company pick up the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul 'Publisher of the Year' for a remarkable 14th consecutive time - and the 16th time in the 21-year history of the awards.
