New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Wayman Tisdale scores again! Tisdale's latest album 'Rebound' debuts this week at No 1 on the Heatseekers and Billboard Contemporary Jazz charts and No 121 on The Billboard 200. 'Rebound' marks Tisdale's third consecutive album released on Rendezvous Entertainment to enter in the No 1 position on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart.

When asked about his funky, soulful jazz sound on 'Rebound,' Wayman Tisdale told Bloomberg TV's Mike Schneider, "I don't like to say the 'J' word because my music is so much more than jazz. It's a mixture of everything. I have country, gospel, reggae and urban songs. I am like the melting pot of music."

Once predominantly recognized for his athletic abilities as an NBA great and Olympic gold medalist (1984 US Basketball Team), Tisdale's musical success has established his place as an all-star in the jazz world and attracted a team of accomplished musicians to join him on this album of joyful, laid back grooves. Special guest performances on 'Rebound' include country giant Toby Keith, keyboardist Brian Simpson, gospel legend Marvin Sapp and saxophonist Dave Koz.
