Last year musicians and friends Scott Binder (San Francisco) and Nathan Heal (Seattle) joined forces. Combining their diverse musical backgrounds, the two set out to infuse the dance floors with their live show and unique take on electro house music, which they describe as "trancy but electro nonetheless."
Scott Binder hails from San Francisco, where he has cultivated a devoted following of music lovers and club goers with his entrancing combination of high-energy electro house music, African percussion and his energetic stage presence. His musical background is as a drummer/producer, and he has also performed with and shared the stage with two Grammy Award winning percussionist's around the United States. With his turntables and his djembe, Scott weaves a hypnotic blend of floor pounding energy.
Nathan Heal comes from a background of commercial rock and pop. Having spent four years in a high-profile rock band in Los Angeles, Nathan is no stranger to the music industry. With nothing but a keyboard and a laptop, Nathan stirs the musical pot with a vast diversity of sounds. From symphonic to techy, lush to harsh, he keeps the sound fresh.
The two have an infectious energy on stage, combining live performance with DJing, the boys sets are working its way into the feet of everyone who sees them perform, and that number is growing. In September of 2007, CyberSutra performed live at San Francisco's Love Fest, the United States' largest electronic music festival. Since the festival, the boys have been in high demand at the best clubs on the West Coast, and their music is finding it's way into the most respected producer's and DJ's around the globe.
CyberSutra collaborates with some of the top vocalists from around the globe. Currently, they are producing tracks with Tiff Lacey (England) Marcia Juell (San Francisco, USA), who is featured on Matt Darey's hit single, "Beautiful Day". And Jacinta, who was nominated for the WMC's breakthrough artist of the year.
