 LOS ANGELES (Alternative Magazine) - Phish's camp has confirmed that the band will indeed release a studio album of new material before the end of the year. Dubbed Round Room, the 12-track album is due Dec. 10 on Elektra Records. The recordings came to pass while the group was rehearsing for its forthcoming shows in December and January. The album, produced by Bryce Goggins, was recorded in four days this month. Prior to the release will be another batch of live recordings, Live Phish, Vol. 13-16: The Halloween Shows, out on Tuesday (Oct. 29), and a full-length concert DVD due Nov. 12. On the touring front, Phish plans to follow up its New Year's Eve show in New York and its January shows in Virginia with more dates in February, April, and May, as well as summer and fall 2003 tours.
