 NEW YORK (DMX Fans Website) - DMX has proved to be one of the most prolific and talented rappers of the last four years, but can he write? With the help of journalist Smokey D. Fontaine, he can. DMX's E.A.R.L. -- The Autobiography of DMX, as told to Fontaine, hits stores on Nov. 5, it was confirmed by HarperEntertainment on Tuesday (Oct. 22). E.A.R.L. sees the rapper -- real name Earl Simmons -- through his rise straight outta Yonkers, N.Y., to one of today's top hip-hop artists. Meanwhile, DMX's follow-up to 2001's The Great Depression, titled This Ain't No Game, is expected to drop in January on Def Jam. Guests currently in discussions to appear on the album include Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, the Neptunes, and Cam'Ron, according to a spokesperson for the rapper at the Double XXposure Agency. DMX has produced all of the tracks thus far completed himself (eight to be exact), although additional producers could make the album's final cut.
