LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ JSHOCK DD) - On March 18, JSHOCK DD LLC will release two albums and a live concert DVD from Japanese rock bands D'espairsRay and the Underneath in conjunction with their appearance on the North American Rockstar Taste of Chaos (RTOC) tour. "Both D'espairsRay and the Underneath represent the best of Jrock Revolution," says Bob Divney, general manager of Adrenaline Music Group, which distributes JSHOCK DD LLC. "Their music engages and pushes the cultural envelope and we are thrilled to bring their music to the U.S. market." From D'espairsRay, JSHOCK DD LLC will distribute the album "MIRROR" and the DVD "Spiral Staircase No 15 Final." "MIRROR" showcases the band's blend of industrial and melodic rock, while "Spiral Staircase No 15 Final" demonstrates the charisma and musicianship that have propelled the band to worldwide fame. Formed in 1999, D'espairsRay frequently tour throughout the United States and Europe and were a headlining act of last year's Jrock Revolution festival. Warped Tour creator Kevin Lyman and Jrock legend YOSHIKI chose D'espairsRay as one of their favorites to participate on the RTOC tour, which will be the band's most extensive overseas tour to date. "We are very excited to have the first U.S. release of D'espairsRay, as they have been thrilling fans for many years here," says Jrock Revolution and JSHOCK DD LLC label executive, Jonathan Platt. "Having D'espairsRay participate in the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour is a major achievement for any Jrock artist." The Underneath will make their world debut with JSHOCK DD LLC's release of the album "MOON FLOWER." With members drawn from veteran hard rock band TRANSTIC NERVE, the Underneath is a fresh take on industrial metal with compelling live performances. Spring's RTOC will be the band's first tour overseas, building on the success of an exclusive concert in Los Angeles last summer. "The Underneath played a showcase in Los Angeles last May and blew everybody away," says Platt. "We are very excited to expose American fans to this innovative and cutting edge Jrock band as we see that they are part of the new generation of Jrock bands coming out of Japan."
