BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros Records) - The buzz surrounding Talib Kweli's masterful "Ear Drum" album continues growing. The acclaimed collection's new single, the driving "Hostile Gospel Part One," sports an instant classic video that was shot in Lagos, Nigeria, and features Talib Kweli traversing through the lively city.
The video for "Hostile Gospel Part One" was featured on MTV2's "Unleashed" on February 18 and has already been added to a host of video outlets, including MTV2, MTVU and MTV Jams. Talib Kweli will appear on MTV's "Sucker Free" on February 25.

Talib Kweli will be showcasing the phenomenal artists signed to his Blacksmith label at next month's South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Conference in Austin, Texas. The Blacksmith showcase takes place on Saturday, March 15 at Town Lake. Rap icon Ice Cube is also on the bill.

"Ear Drum," Talib Kweli's sixth album, has enjoyed some of the most enthusiastic reviews of Talib Kweli's stellar decade-plus career. The album, which debuted as the No. 2 album on Billboard's Top 200 chart upon its release in 2007, has already spawned the hit single "Hot Thing," which featured and was produced by will.i.am.
