New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Neutral Music) - Mid/Air, the second full-length album from Dive Index, debuted in CMJ's RPM/Electronica charts at No 35 for the week of February 11th. Station support has increased from 22 stations to 85 other college-format stations such as, KCRW, KDNK and WTJU, in the span of two weeks and the numbers continue to come in.

To hear tracks from Mid/Air, please visit www.neutralmusic.com or www.myspace.com/diveindex. Mid/Air will be available for purchase at online stores such as iTunes and Amazon via Neutral Music starting April 22nd.

A true collaborative effort, Mid/Air, gathers vocal and instrumental talents from across the globe and weaves them into a melodically rich and sonically intriguing sound. The common theme in Mid/Air is co-writer and producer, Will Thomas. He, along with vocal and lyrical contributors such as Natalie Walker, Ian Masters, Cat Martino, and Merz, combine to create a wonderful ensemble that takes the listener on a mesmerizing musical journey. Thomas uses a blend of electronic and acoustic elements as the backdrop, with a focus on the songs, leading the listener on a series of personal and emotional journeys. Being lost in a foreign country, the insecure political climate, the lonely life of a fisherman, channel surfing, and absorbing comfort in life and loss- these are some of the melancholy themes touched upon throughout the album. Yet, Mid/Air still manages to retain some glimmers of hope.

You may know the name of New York-based producer Will Thomas from works done over the past decade through his alter-ego, Plumbline. His projects were all well received by press and industry off of the respected British label, Hydrogen Dukebox. More recently, he collaborated with Roger Eno (yes, Brian's brother) on an Anglo countryside ambient inspiration titled Transparencies. Dive Index is a new project for Thomas, with Mid/Air as the second installment of a four in a series of concept albums being released worldwide.
